The backlog of non-success

So doing some serious early morning pondering and working today it occurred to me that my longest todo lists generally concentrate on the things that I haven’t been successful at…yet. And comparatively it’s much shorter in the things I am more successful at. This seems obvious, but it’s actually quite depressing because eventually you reach a tipping point of despair if success eludes you; you get buried under a mass of stuff to do that you will probably never be able to.

Arghh!

This is how men my age give up on dreams – under deluge of wishes and unfulfilled todo lists. Insight into the human condition is usually not comforting sadly.
