Look I know the web is the new hotness (or is it the old hotness?) and we have to settle for good enough, but is it too much to ask for some damned spell check on the web? One cannot knock out a quick Facebook post without playing twiddle jump with the keyboard if you’re using the web interface. Heck, even mobile devices have spell check (although apparently you can’t change the font size or color, sigh). Ok, I admit to being spoiled by the last 10 years of word processing development but can we please stop regressing even as we move forward? When will the next leap in computer technology grandfather in all the goodness that came before it? I guess not as long as people keep ‘disrupting’ old business models. Hrmmf. I love me some disruption but this can be a pain sometimes.
